Inlaid

I.
carry plenty of silver quarters
in your pocket and the sound’s
as if you’re wearing chain mail.
II.
indeed, a shot to the pocket
with bullet or even arrow would
be totally impenetrable. this is
III.
why it’s best to keep small and
invaluable items behind silver
quarters when out in the world.
